When you use Charentes Relocation, time will be taken to ensure that you know exactly what services you require and what you are agreeing to.
You will be quoted a one off fee for the services and, once agreed upon, that fee will stand. It will not creep higher, once you have committed yourself, as your move unfolds.
You will receive a Confirmation of Services form which sets out exactly what the services entail and no work will commence until you are satisfied with its content and you have signed and returned it. The agreed fee will be stated in the Confirmation of Services form.

YOU WILL BE ACCOMPANIED FOR EACH SERVICE UNLESS YOU STATE OTHERWISE
The Follow-on Move is a separate service which will not be arranged until you have moved to France and are certain that you require it.

The following is an example of a typical case based on a family with children moving into a long term rented property and registering with the French authorities so as to enjoy the same rights as a French national.
PROPERTY SEARCH
- a search and preview of suitable properties with photos and a report sent on each one before you arrive to view them;
- meeting you before the viewings to keep you updated;
- accompanying you on all the viewings;
- negotiating the tenancy agreement and
- an orientation of the local area
CONNECTION TO UTILITIES
- setting up accounts for electricity, gas and water starting with meter readings.
PHONE CONNECTION
- establishing a line rental and
- searching for the best phone company to set up with.
INSURANCES
- a minimum of three quotes for house, complementary health and car insurance and
- accompanying you to set up the above insurances.
SCHOOL SEARCH
- research and a report on any specific school needs or requirements.
REGISTERING WITH THE SOCIAL SECURITY SYSTEM
- preparing and arranging the necessary documentation;
- accompanying you to the relevant social security office and
- accompanying you to child benefit office if you qualify for payments.
SETTING UP A BANK ACCOUNT
- accompanying you to set up a bank account.
REGISTERING WITH A DOCTOR
- accompanying you to register with a doctor.
PHONE SUPPORT includes
- being on hand for any queries at no extra charge.
All the above services can be taken care of for you in full for a one off payment of 2,655 € (approx £2,420). We will be available for any queries you have after we have completed the services.
- If you bring your furniture, you could save around £200 per month on storage.
- After six months you will have recouped £1,200 of the above fee.
- If you rent for a year, you could be £700 better off than if you had rented a holiday let.
- You will also be saving by paying less per month than for a holiday let.
- On top of this, you will have had everything done for you.
